Afon Tyweryn
The Tryweryn is arguably the most famous white water river in Britain, and as such is a fantastic place for kayaking and canoeing. Home of the National White Water Centre, the River Tryweryn is a managed river with dam releases and some improvements to the natural river to make it ideal for paddlers. Close to Snowdonia's mountain rivers, the famous River Dee and Bala Lake, the area is a great centre for canoeing, and a must do tick on any white water paddler's CV.
